Project Management

 

Project Management is the backbone of all JoMax projects. It is the collective tasks, dates, resources and measures that ensure projects are well organized and planned to accomplish their goals and achieve the best results for the company. The project management process ultized by JoMax Consulting is the Microsoft Solutions Framework including the Visioning, Planning, Development and Stabilization.

 

JoMax Consulting uses the Microsoft Solution Framework as a process to manage both the process and the deliverables of a project. Each phase of the project includes key deliverables and approvals from the key stakeholders to ensure progress. Also, the approval process is supported by a very clear communication gate to move from one phase of the project to the next.

 

Listed are some of the Milestones and key deliverables identified using MSF:

 

• Serve as a framework for decisions or for securing support/approval and task lists.

• Provide a basis for more detailed planning.

• Integrate the process work flow with the IT Governance and SDLC / Change Management processes.

• Documents clear goals and objectives of the project - describes clear vision of project.

• Documents the functional specifications as well as the solutions design for review and approval.

• Makes going backwards impossible, allowing to capture features and elements on a parking lot list to be considered next rotation.
